Chris. Fell was home from Purdue over Sunday. Born, to Mr. and Mrs. M. Stokes, Feb. Ist, a son. John Wilson returned home from Bloomington Thursday. ” Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Ben Ulves, at Wabash, Feb. 5, a son. J, F. Timmons, of Hoopston, 111., visited his mother here several days last week. Chas. Brand and Emil Besser were in Reynold? on business between trains Saturday. Miss Lauretta Latlmore, of Goodland, visited her sister, Mrs. Napolean Sign, here over Sunday. Mrs. Fred Bowman died at her home in Montlcello on Friday of last week. The funeral was held Monday. Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Coleman and daughter Anna returned home from Kouts Thursday of last week. Mrs. Chas. Scarlet, of Rensselaer, was called here last week by the sickness of her father, Mr. Gray. J. D. Allman, of Rensselaer, visited relatives and attended the K. of P. district convention here on Wednesday of last week. Alexander Osborne returned home to Lafayette Thursday, after a two weeks’ visit here with his father, Joseph Osborne. Jno. Howell, wife and daughter returned home Wednesday of last week from a six weeks’ visit In different parts of Indiana and Ohio. Ezra Bowman and daughter, Mrs. Maurice Peck, were called to Montioello Friday by the death of his son’s wife, Mrs. Fred Bowman. Rev. E. Miller preached, his farewell sermon at the Christian church on last Snnday evening and moved this week to Plymouth, where he will also preach at Etna Green. Cards are ont announcing the wedding of Mr. Geo. Woods to Miss Hazel Gilbert to take place at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Gilbert, on Wednesday evening, February 19. at 8 o’clock. Cards are out announcing the wedding of Mr. Barzllla Grant Parks, of Etna Green, to Miss Lula Viola Jennings, which happy event will take place at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. Newton Jennings at Mentone, Ind.. on Wednesday evening, February 19, at 7 o’clock.
