Will McCord, who for several months has been tending bar in the Qarnty saloon at Mt. Ayr; was lDjured quite serverly Thursday of last week. He was going to his dinner and slipped on the icy pavement and fell, striking his head either on the sidewalk or the ourbing, and receiving a very severe bruise. A day or two later he seemed somewhat improved, but his father-in-law, Thos. Crockett, was today notified tbat he is still confined to his bed and is in a rather serious condition.
