LAWYERS FORM A MOVING VAN

State University Students of Blackstone Help Move Law Department to N£w Quarters. Bloomington, Ind., Feb. B.—The future Dauiel Websters and Blackstones did manual labor at Indiana University today; the members of the Indiana University Law School, donned their working clothes and transferred the law department, green bags and baggage, from the old law school quarter on the third floor of Wylie Hall to thp beautiful building turned over to that school this year, Maxwell Hall, the old library building, which was vacated / when the new library building was completed. About 100 members of the La# School joined with the professors and made the change in short order. Owing to the face that the University is short of fund?, the authorities found that it would be impossible to hire enough men to make 'the transfer in one day, and thus -■ot cause any time to be lost. Two or three days would have been required by the present force of regularly employed janitors, and the students figured that that time would be lost to them. la order to avoid that they met last Tuesday afternoon, and decided to help out in the moving. And they did the job completely and carefully. Over 6,000 volumes of the law library were moved thus. Some of the professors placed the books in boxes and started the line of students for the new building. There, they were taken in charge by others of the professors and the assistant librarians and put iu their proper places on the stacks. ‘This action, voluntary as it was, jast illustrates the interest our law students have in the school,” said Prof. £. G, Hogate, Dean of the school today. ‘ ‘They wanted to get in onr commodious new building and quickly; and they were willing to do the work to get there.” The new law building is one of best equipped iu the country, hav ing the best library facilities, good moot court rooms, large class rooms, consultation, loungtog and study rooms. The law school has a yearly enrollment of more than 200 students.
