Old Resident of Mt. Ayr Dies.

John Barton a resident oi Newton county for the|past forty years died at bis home north of Mt. Ayr, Saturday night. Mr. Barton at the time of his death was 80 years of age and for tbe past 2 years had been an invalid, suffering from paralysis which rendered him practically helpless. He leaves a wife, quite advanced in age, three daughters, Mrs. Frank Makeever of Newton coonty, Mrs Grant Clarke of Mt. Ayr'and a daughter living in cagoThe fnneral'will be held at ML Ayr|Wedneeday and the interment will bejmade in tbe North Star cemetery.
