Oh as. Hammond and wife spent Sunday at the home of John Rash; John Rash made a business trip to Olney, 111., the flatter part of last'week. Bert Goff of Rensselaer came over last Saturday and with the assi stance of Ben ’Wolf put, together the large bake oven in Lynch’s restaurant, Bernard Hopkins will J leave pbont the first ot February for New Mexico. He will go to the same place where Chas. Bringle and \v m. Shindler are located. _. ' , Mr. and MrS. W. A. Crisler arid Miss Flora Parke spent Sunday in Rensselaer at the home of Benjamin Harris, Sr. ... Win. Shindler, who recently moved to New Mexico, has sent back for his mules to be shipped to him. Billy Bays that mules are very valuable in that country. W. K. Haskell of Omaha, Neb., came, the fore part of the week and will make an, extended visit with his many friends and relatives ip this locality. Billy is working in the car construction' department of the Cud bay Packing Co , and has a very lucrative position. He intends wakipf&.a long visit with all his relatives as he don’t know when he will get back to this country again. v
