Dies from Hazing.
Raymond Taylor, a sixteen-year old pupil of the Eugene Field School, in Chicago, is dead, a victim of hazing. He was hazed by two of his-school mat ten days ago, and, althc attended school until last Tuesday, he did n»t re over from the effects and died of spinal meningitis. The police aud tue school board are investigating. The hazing which cost the life of young Taylor con sisted iu what the boys at the school call the “royal bumpers.’ 7 Two ot his schoolmates seized the boy, oue taking his head and the other his feet, aud, holding his hands so he could not protect him self, they bnmped him on the brick pavement ot the schoolyard.
