Anti-Liquor Law Valid.

The supreme court of the United States Monday upheld the antiliquor law ot Kansas by affirming the decisions oi the supreme court of that state in a number of cases, including that of Fritz Durien, of Shawnee eounty, convicted of violating the law. Durien appealed to the federal supreme court on a writ of error on the ground that the state statue contravenes the constitution because it gives discretion to probate judges in granting permits.
