John Phillips of Wabash visited relatives here this week. Dr. E. Besser was in Reynolds on business between trains Mnoday. Mrs. Mary Bartholomew of Mo rocco visited frieuds' here last .week.- . " Miss Mabie Nichols who has been visiting Miss Aua Peck returned to Franklin Tuesday. M. A. Gray visited relatives at Champaign and Paunemice, Jll., last week and the first of this. Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Eisle and little dangheer Mabie ot Rensselaer visited friends here Thursday. Miss Louise Gier of Reynolds visited her brother William and family Wednesday of last week. Walter Rhoades returned home to Hoopston, 111., Saturday after an extended visit here with his parents. Miss Bertha Primmer returned home Monday of last week from a few days visit witn relatives at Chalmers. , • Mrs. Charles Fox returned to her Lome in Lafayette Thursday after a visit here with her cousin Mrs. Clara Bartee. Sullivan moved his house hold goods and family to Wolcott Wednesday, where he haa been engaged in hauling logs. Mrs. Grubb and daughters Nola and Mrs. Tom Blake and two daughters visited her mother at Monticello several days last week. Henry Brooks while wrestling Monday morning at Sutherland’s livery barn, caught his foot and fell fracturing his limb just above the ankle. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Thompson and daughter Mrs. Mabie Stoner ol Valpariso returuded Monday after a short visit with his father Mr. George Tno npson. Qne of John Wilson’s valuable horses, that had broken out of his pasture and wandered down the railroad track just west of town was struck by the east train on hut Tuesday morning. When ■ the horse was found some time later it was injured so badly that it had to be killed.
