Who Owns the Liquor.

Monticelio Democrat: Judge Wasson has been occupied yesterday and today in trying to ascertain who owns the liquors found in an np stairs room, over the Rose saloon in Monon. In the recent raid on Rose’s place under search warrants about two dray loads of liquors of various kinds were fonnd locked in an upstairs room. Rose claimed that the liquors did not belong to him, and in the hearing now on an attempt is being made to show that they were the proper ty of the Thieme & Wagner Brewing Company of Lafayette. Some liquors were also fonnd down stairs behind the saloon bar, but they will probably figure more prominently in the state case against Rose which will probably not be tried before next term.
