Interurban Good For Delphi.
Notwithstanding the fact that Delphi is situated half way between Lafayette and Loganaport on both the Wabash steam road and the new internrban, thin fact does not seem to have injured it one bit as a trading point, and to the contrary has helped it out The following paragraph from the Delphi Oitizon will prove interesting. “Last Saturday was one of tho best days with the business men in this city in recent years. In many of the stores it was impossible to get in at times and all were busy unt*l late at night. At all places of business there was a constant ring ot the cash register and at the close of the day the financial results exceeded the expectations of all. The intern, ban cars were well filled all day and a constant stream of people was on Washington street going and coming from the station.” The proposed intoruxban thru Rensselaer would double, or almost doable oar trade here. We should have the road, and we oould do more than we are doing toward getting it.
