This popular ladies’ voting election will be conducted on business principles and with strict impartiality to all. The Capital Prize will be our beautiful Price & Teeple s4oO.oc>(Cabinet Grand Piano. Other prizes as above. The voting will be by ballots clipped from this publication—and by certificates—issued with receipts for subscriptions to this paper. Ballots clipped from this paper will count 10 votes each for the candidates named thereon. Ballots clipped from this publication will be accepted and counted only when properly filled out and received at this office within one week of date of issue. Any person may vote as many times as they have coupons. In sending more than one coupon they must be fastened together in bundles and labeled with the number of votes which they aggregate. Coupons rolled up wifi not be accented. The name of each candidate must be carefully written on each coupon. Ballots or voting certificates once received and admitted to the count cannot be transferred under any circumstances. « Ladies in this and adjoining counties are eligible to enter this popular election and the candidate receiving the highest number of votes will be awarded the Piano. The other prizes will be awarded in accordance with candidates’ standing after the final count. Instructions, —Results as to standing of votes will be issued in each publication of the paper in which the election is being conducted. No one connected with this paper will be allowed to become a candidate in this election or work for a candidate. Only in case of error or irregularity shall the publisher be allowed to tell whom any one voted for. Be sure you know whom you are going to vote for before coming to ballot box, as the editor or any one will positively not give you any information on the subject. For the first sixty days the paper will run a 10-vote coupon, which can be voted free for any young lady candidate. Those who do not fully understand the rules and regulations of this election may call at this office and we will be pleased to go over the whole proposition with them.
