N. A. McKay visited his mother in Kirklin over Sunday. Walter McKannell and wife have into the Eliza Fay property. Mrs. Estella Shahan of Lafayette is visiting her mother Mrs. Eight this week. Winter has laid her fleecy coat over the sand dunes of Fair Oaks once more. Be sure to go to the League Sunday night and encourage the youug people that much. There will be an entertainment and Christmas tree in the M. E. church Christmas eve. The little son of Charles Warren who got his knee cat some weeks ago is still very poorly. Mrs. )Cottirigham has just returned from a visit to her mother and other relatives near Brookaton. We hear that Miss Edith Moffitt who went to Cnicago, some weeks ago to the hospital, is improving. Mrs. Craten Coppesa went to Chicago this week to a specialist to have her eyes examined, she being almost blind. Mrs. Thompson gave a lunch party Thursday afternoon to the members of the M. E society which was enjoyed by all. Mrai. C. A. Gundayjspeut Sunday in Rensselaer and attended the Union meeting, also the sisters' meeting at the Baptist church. Protracted meeting is being held at the re&dence of Wm. Warren this week, conducted by a lady evangelist. All are invited ta attend. The ladies of the M. E. Society, will give a Christmas supper Christmas eve, but it has not yet beende cided where it will be, just keep your appetite io order and we will let you know in time. /
