Kellenburger Has Resigned.

County Supentendent W. L. Kellenburger, whose torm of office in Newton county expired last June and who held ever since that time owing to the failure of the trustees to agree on his successor, has now resigned. Prof. Will Schanlaub, of the Morocco school, and a former Bens selaer boy, was the democratic candidate and secured all the demo cratic votes during the many ballots cast last June, but the republican trustees were divided between two candidates, one of them Mr. Kellenburger. Thecase had been appealed to the surpreme court in an effort to mandate the trustees to reconvene. This will now be dismissed and the trustees called upon to elect a successor for Mr. Kellenburger, and the call was made for Saturday, Dec. 7th.
