Railroad Election In White County.

Jesse M. Rowe, of-Sound Grove township, in White county, and twenty-eight ethers in that township last week filed a petition at Monticello asking for an election to vote on a 1} per cent tax subsidy proposition for the Lafayette and Chicago electric railroad, which is to rnn thru Rensselaer. The commissioners will probably grant ttfa petition and set a date for the election at their January seeing.
