Hodge Ditch Case Not Decided.

The suit of parties assessed for the payment of the Hodge ditch cleaning, to enjoin the auditor and treasurer from paying the contractors, Farmer & Yeoman, occupied the last two or three days of the court, and attracted a great many north end witnesses. The claim was made that the work was not completed according to specifications, and and that the report of Engineer Hobbs that it did fulfill the specifications is not true. ( After the evidence was all in the plaintiffs filed a request for a special finding of facts, and the court took the case under advisement and may poesibly render his decision during the vacation period.
