Surrendered to Sheriff O’Connor.
Two of the indictments returned by the recent grand jury were lor the arrest of Fred Yeiter and John Remley, for alleged oom stealing, the particulars of which had perhaps better not be published until the parties have been tried. Both parties one absent when the indictments were returned but both returned Saturday hunted up Sheriff O’Connor and submitted 30 arrest. Hiram Day and Elmer B. Smith went on the bail bond of each in the sum of 0300. The fact that both men are highly respected and heretofore have borne the very best reputations makes the case a very disagreeable one. Both plead guilty before Jndge Hanley last Monday morning, and were sentenced to one day in jail and fined S 5 each. Pending good behavior Judge Hanley remitted the jail sentence.,
