Two Deaths at Remington
Charles Shaw, an elderly man, who was at one time the owner of considerable land near Remington, and who was well know n as a horte dealer, died Thursday morning at 7 o’clock, at his home in that town. He leaves a wife but no children. Yellow jaundice was the cause of his death. The funeral was he’d Sunday at two o’clock by the Odd Fellows lodge of which he was a memoer. Mrs. David Gagley. of Remington, also died Thursday in a Chicago hospital, where she had undergone an operation for gall stones. The operation was followed by a paralytic stroke that resulted in death. Mrs. Gagley was about 55 years of age. She has a daughter, Julia Gagley, who conducts a nurses employment registry in Chicago.
