A Marriage From DeMottewards.
Martha Ethel Batson was the name of a minor applicant for a marriage license this Tuesday morning, and pa and ma Batson were along to give their consent that the license issue. The father is Franklin Batson and he lives up about the state of DeMotte, and Joe O’Connor, deputy sheriff, who was handy, witnessed Batson’s signature by mark to the application.
