Wm. Banes who has been carpentering in Kankakee all summer returned home Wednesday. Mrs. Ada Dobbins left Thursday for|Kansas City, Mo., where she will spend the winter with her sister Mrs. Cox. A. A. Fell visited his son Horace and family at Auburn, Ind., several days last week. Mrs. Wm. McNichols bF Jmfitttown, Pa., visited her son M. A. McNichols here last week. Ellis Jones and Wm. Barnett left Tuesday for a prospecting tour thru Texas; Mr. and Mrs. 8. G. Hand, Mr. and Mrs. A. Milligan and sons left Tuesday to spend the winter in gi—t-jo MMOMI Miss Bessie Hitchcock left Monday for Jacksonville, Florida to spend the winter. Mr, H. L. Finley her cousin of Orlando, Florida, who has been visiting here the past week accompanied her. Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Dye and Mrs. Tim Harrington visited friends at Lafayette Tuesday afternoon, They went over in Mr. Dye’s automobile, Jehnr Shearer who hks been working in Lafayette spent Tuesday and Wednesday here with his parents. Joe Klouse returned home Wednesday, having spent the past four months in Dakota. M. A. Gray is now able to be about the house on crutches and was able to be out for the first time for a ride on Friday of last week.. Misses Merlie and Georgia Harris of Rensselaer, spent Sunday with Miss Irene Balcom. Mr. and Mrs. Tim Harrngton went to Oxford Thu reday to visit friends and attend the funeral of Father Copp a of that place. Bev. Father Horstman was called to Oxford Friday to preach the funeral of Father Coppa of that place. He accompanied the remains to Ft. Wayne for burial and returned home Saturday evening. Mre. E. C.
