Mr. Goodwin’s Tramp.
N. G. Goodwin, the eomedian,' was praising in £Jew : York the modesty of a celebrated playwright. • “Why,” said Mr. Goodwin, “the man’s modesty is almost ludicrous. reminds me of the tramp and the old lady. Tbe old lady gave t£e tramp a dime. Then she looked at him closely.
