FUNERAL OF G. M. KESSINGER

The funeral of George M. Kessinger was held at the M. E. church at 10:30 o’clock, on Tuesday morning, Rev. J. C. Parrett, of the Presbyterian ch arch preaching the funeral sermon, the pastor, Rev. H. L. Kindig being absent from the city. George M. Kessinger was born in Miami County, Ohio, Jan. 2, 1840, and died Nov. 10, 1907. He was married in 1861 to Katherine Miller. To this union was born ten children, Sarah, Callie, May,, Charles, Harry, Jennie, Julia, Willis, Snsan and -Roy; all are living bat one ter. In 1865 Mr. Kessinger with his family removed from Ohio to La fayette where he lived until 1870, when he moved to Jasper eonnty, which county he made his home until Jan. 1907 he with and two sons, Willis and Roy re moved to Wabash Connty, where he spent the remainder of his life. In 1870 he united with the Evangelical chnroh in Tippecanoe County. After removing to Jas per Co., he united with the Metho diet church and remained a faithful worker until claimed by death. Mr. Kessinger, who was 67 years, 10 months and 8 days of age was the last of five to pass to the great beyond.
