Currency For Pensioners

The local banks will cash all pension vouchers, by the payment of currency. It had at first been decided not to do this, owing to the effort being made to retain the currency in the banks, but the Government has provided for this emergency and was sent the cur rency| to an Indianapolis bank, subject to shipment to banks taking up these vouchers, so the local banks will now give out the currency on these vouchers. It will, therefore, cause the veterans, and their dependants, no inconvenience whatever, and any merchant can cash the vouchers, and get the currency from any one of the local banks.
