OBITUARY OF LEWIS P. GORE
Lewis P. Gore was born in Maryland, Sept. 12, 1847, and died in Bensselaer, Ind., Tuesday, Nov. 6, 1907, at the ago oi 60 years, 1 month and 23 days. Mr. Gore came with his parents to Mechanicsburg, Ohio, when he was but a child of 6 years. Here he grew to manhood. In 1868 he was united in marriage to Miss Agnns Nelson. To this union one son was born, L. L. Gore who is now a prominent business man of Concordia, Kans., and was present at the funeral service. Shortly after his marriage, Mr. Gore moved to Mt. Pulaski, 111. In 1873 his wife died. Ten years later he was married the second time to Miss Addie Mason, of Laporte, Ind. One son was born to this union. James Blaine Gore. This marriage proved an unhappy one and they subsequently separated and were divorced. The spn remained with his mother and her people. Mr. Gore was again united in marriage a third time in 1900 to Miss Mary Tanner One child, Lizzie Lora Gore, was born to this nhion in 1902. During these seven years of the last marriage the family have resided at Thayer, Ind.
