Michigan City News: The board of control of the state prison paid a notable compliment to Warden James D. Reid when at their meeting Saturday in this city they reappointed him warden for the next four yeais. Warden Reid has served six years as the executive head of the prison under two state administrations and has made a great record. Warden Reid was a township trustee at South Bend when Governor Durbin was attracted by Mr. Reid's splendid iecord in the modest office and wds comparatively unknown outside of his own county when he was chosen head of the prison from among several men of state-wide reputations. If Warden Reid should serve out his ten years he will have established a remarkable record. 500 bushels of apples for sale.
