Another Kankakee Drainage Petition

Attorney Frank J. Cook, who is also the secretary of the Kankakee Reclamation Co., was here last week and associated Attorneys Foltz & Spitler with him as th# joint legal council for the petitioners in the matter of deepening, straightening and widening of the Kankakee river between the work already completed and that pro posed by Horace Marble, et al. The connecting ditch is three miles in length and follows the survey the U. S. government engineer made in 1906. , The petition will come np for docketing on Satniday, Dec. 7, 1907, in the Jasper circuit court. Fred Hamann, et al, are the petitioners.
