LONG’S CORN SHOW We are preparing to give another big Corn Show, and would like every farmer in Jasper and Newton Counties to bring us Six Ears of their best corn. All entries will close Nov. 9, and the following prizes will be givem Ist Prize for best 6 ears Yellow corn —Gold Watch. 2d Prize for next best Yellow corn—l-2 gal. Lee’s Lice Paint Ist Prize for best 6 ears White corn—One Eight-Day Clock. 2d Prize for next best White corn—l-2 gal. Lee’s Lice Paint. Six ears of corn is all we want, and every farmer should have interest enough in this to make it a good show.
