Mrs. Stone and daughter Lizzie returned home Thursday- after an extended yisit with relatives at Marion. Wm. Smalley was home from Purdne over Sunday. Mrs. Eva Friday and two children, of Idaville, came Friday for a visit with her sistei s, Mrs. F. L. Peck and Miss Dot Tedford. Jack Woods • and Gns Kelley came home Saturday from booth Dakota j where they have been working the past two months. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Geoige Neargarten, Oct. 27, a son/ Howard Omstead of Seneca. 111., has been visiting relatives here the past week. Mildred Hobbs went to Reynolds Saturday to visit her brother John and help him in the telephone office over Sunday. „ _ Mjra Hart of Lafayette was in town Wednesday and Thursday of last week looking after her farm southeast of town. 'Mrs W. H. Henderson and son Gay visited her sister, Mrs. Joe Milner at Indianapolis from Weduntil Satarday. James Leavel and wife of Wabash visited his sister Mrs. Clyde Reeves, several days last. week. Mrs. Robert Parker, daughter Mrs. Hartley Church and son Os- - man left Wednesday to visit her daughter Mrs. Jones Templeton of St Lonis. T. J. Canine and wife visited their daughter Mrs. C. W. Merritt, last week before moving to their. horae in Oxford. Miss Gertrude Klouse and Mr. Clyde Thompson were married last week at Fowler. Nora Leavel of Wabash came Tuesday of last week for an extended visit with her sister Mrs. Clyde Reeves and other relatives. Mr, Leon Gammons and Miss Anna Wagner were married by Rev. Father Horstman at the parsonage Wednesday evening of last week. They at once left tor Chicago where they will visit relatives. Mrs. Thomas Calligan died at her home on Wednesday night of last week, at the age of 78 years. Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart church Saturday. Interment made in Catholic Cemetery. Mrs. G<so. Eck and daughter Ethel visited relatives at Cicero last week. Jacob Klouse another son of Mr and Mrs Frank Klouse had all the fingers of his right hand amputated in a buzz saw, Wednesday of last week, while sawing wood for Robt. Parker.
