A Floating Treat Pond.
One of the novel fen tares of the steamship Amerika of the Haroburg-American line is s tank in which fish, principally trout and carp, are kept alive and served to easterners in the restaurant when ordered. The tanks are of sine, and tha water is supplied with oxygen by pumping air through perforated pipes extending into the water. More than 500 fresh trout and 150 carp were sold on a recant trio from Hamburg to New York.
