Oklahoma Bara oa November 16. President Roosevelt has announced that he will proclaim Oklahoma a st*te on Saturday, November 16. He received yesterday in person from Governor Franz, of the territory, a certi fled copy of the new constitution and a certificate of the election returns, then made the above announcement to the governor.

Presbyterian Church at Gary. A Presbyterian church was organized at Gary Monday night. The meeting was heid at the Delaware hotel and the organization was perfected. The membership list will be held open for three weeks. The congregation has purchased three lots on one of the principal streets and opposite a park site and will erect a church therou. A Presbyterian church was recently organized at Tolleston. 1

Father and Son in Prison. Michigan City Dispatch: Robt. Huey and Alexander Huey, lather and son, were brought to the state prison from Fountain county last evening to serve from ten to twenty years each for burglary, having broken into a dwelling and stolen considerable plunder. The sight of father and son handcuffed together and brought to prison was inceed a novel one, even for the prison officials.
