The First Lecture Course Number.

The first number of the lecture course was held at the Christian church Thursday evening and drew a large attendance, aud the lecture was enjoyed by all. The speaker, George Egar Vincent, who is a member of the laculty of Chicago University, and a son of Bishop John H. Vincent, is not only-,a •good orator but he has the manner of impressing his hearers with the result of his convictions and his disquisition of his subject was most thoro.
