Gone to Their Oregon Home.
George E. Marshall, former editor of The Republican, and family, left Thursday afternoon at 3:30 for their future home in Medford, Oreg., where, as has been stated before, he will engage jin fruit farmiug on th A large farm he purchased when out there last May. His son, Vernon B. Marshall has been in Medford since Sept. Ist, and the oldest daughter Miss Lucile, who had been visiting relatives at Marley, 111., joined the tamily in Chicago. Mrs. R. W. Marshall and Charles Hansen and family also joined them in Chicago. Mrs. James R. Parkieon and two children, Harriett and Paul, also accompanied them as far as Sacramento, Calif., and went from there to Los Angeles, where they will spend the winter, particularly in the interest of Miss Harriett’s health, and if they are pleased with the country and climate it is not improbable that Mr. Parkison will decide eventually to permanently locate there. c In all there were sixteen people in the party upon leaving Chicago and they will arrive at their destination some time Monday afternoon.
