BIG GAME HERE ON NOVEMBER 2

Chicago First Regiment, Last Year's Cook County Champions, Will Tackle Company N. Company M will be on the firing line on Nov. 2d. The famous First Regiment of Illinois will come down from Chicago to do battle with a single company. But the battle will be one of foot ball, and the rivalry will be friendly but intense. The First Regiment claims the 1906 athletic championship of Cook county, bnt that don’t frighten Company M. Rensselaer has been in the habit of trimming Chicago champions since the days ot 1900, and the fast, heavy and nervy team that represents the local militia will no doubt make a fine showing. It will be a great game and will draw a big crowd. Next Saturday’s game with the strong Wabash team at Wabash and a week’s hard practice should put the team in fine condition for this big undertaking. The Frankfort militia team has been scheduled to play here on Saturday, Nov. 9th. The game to be returned at Frankfort on Nov. 23rd. Nov. 16th and Thanksgiving are open dates whick Manager Kiplinger would like to fill, preferably at home.
