At the Court House.

Three new cases were filed this week; viz. John W. Ward vs Wm. P. Gaffield, suit to foreclose mortgage. Elmer B. Smith, et al., vs. Fritz W. Bedford, suit to force collection on lien to amount of 821.50. Sarah E. Burns vs. Joseph 1. Burns, suit to quiet title. Myrian R. Culp, administratrix of estate of Jerry C. Culp, filed petition to sell property, which conrt ordered sold without notice at not less than appraised value. Several hunters have been granted licenses, particularly in the north end of the county. Ed Peck, at Remington, Sqnire Buesell. Jim Lefler and Dick Fonlks, from oat east, and the following from town have had licenses issued: C. S. Chamberlain, W. F. Powers, E. J. Duvall. W. O. McCord, Dr. E. C. English, and Harve Robinsofi/Jt The working section of the auditor’s office has been made more private by the erection of an interior railing, so that persons who want to talk at short range can do so without setting on the table. The treasurer gives notice to tax payers to get in before the “garrison finish” on Nov. 4th.
