Had a Mad Dog Scare.
Earl Clouse, delivery boy at the Chicago Bargain Store, was bitten on the hand by Albert Wolf’s dog Saturday evening at about 6 o’clock while out delivering groceries, and became so nervous when friends told him that it might result in hydrophobia that after having the injury dressed and going to the home of his father, Levi Clouse, he relapsed into unconsciousness and remained in that condition until Bunday morning. This caused a great deal of alarm and the report was circulated about town that he had a pronounced case of hydrophobia. The dog was at once killed, which probably didn’t hurt anything except the dog, altho he had shown no sign of the rabies. Young Ulouse came out of his nervous shock all rigbt, altho he will not go to work until Tuesday morning. w _■ z
