Some farmers in these part have not finished threshing. Mrs. Pheobe Andrus, who has been sick several weeks, is some better. Sheriff O’Connor, of Rensselaer, is in these parts at present, looking after his interest. Kniman has organize d a Forester lodge with 33 members and 14 ap plicants, three of whom have pas sed the examination and wiL be initiated this week. Frank Meyers, the seven yearold son of J. E. Meyers, fell out of a handcart Monday and broke his leg just above tiie knee. Dr. Zeuch, of set the broken bone and the boy is getting along well a this writing.
