Commercial Wireless Service.

Sig. Marconi, who is now in Nova Scotia, is preparing to opdn a station at Cape Breton for commercial wireless telegraph service in about- three weeks. It is his intention to commence the active work by sending message* to two or three of the trans-Atlantic papers. He is quoted as saying: “We hay% overcome all obstacles, and are sure of success. The weather will have no effect on our doing efficient work, unless our pole* or masts should be damaged. Liglrtning will not bother us at all. We have successfully got over the bad weather difficulty.” No effort has been made for speed. For the present about twenty words a minute will be sent, although the possibilities are much greater. The tariff, as published, is 10 cents per word far genera) messages and 5 cents for press work.
