Prohibition for Tennessee.

The Supreme Court of Tennessee has affirmed the constitutionality of the Pendleton act, which in effect estends the provisions of prohibition to all but five cities of the State. The same Legislature which passed this law abolished the charters of ' five citieb —Knoxville. Bristol, Clarksville. Columbia and Jackson—and rrincorporated them under the new law, which prohibits saloons withia their bardem.
