Peculiar Woman Sought Work Here
An elderly woman, tall, erect aßd very slender, spent last night in Rensselaer, securing accommodations at the home of John Kresler. She was quite well dressed and wore an apparently new cloak. This morning she applied at several places for employment of any menial Kind. Conversation with her developed that she was very intelligent and cultured. She claimed to have been a "school teacher for many yearn and also said her husband was serving a term in the penitentiary .'or hank wrecking. “It was a case just like the McCoys,” she said. Altho she talked in a perfectly rational manner her appearance indicated a disordered mind. She left town on the south bound morning train.
