SILVER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

The 25th or Bilver wedding an* niversary of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. La Rue was celebrated Friday afternoon and evening, Ocf. lltl, 1907, something like two hundred guests responding to invitations to the La Rue home across the river. Many appropriate presents were received, and the guests included many who resided in Rensselaer when the marriage of this couple took place, in the house now owned and occupied by J as. F. Irwin., Mrs. Laßue’s ipaiden name was Sarah E. Sever. Among the guests were the following from out.of town: Mr. and Mrs. Cooper Sever, and Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Nichols, of Milford, 111., and Mr. Wade Laßue. son of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Laßue, who is attendiu g the State University at Bloomington. The occasion was a very pleasant one.
