Fowler Factory Fails Financially.

The Fowler mitten tnd glove factory has become a bankrupt thru the peculations, it is said, of John H. Hirzel, the secretary and treasurer of the company, who has fled and who is presumed to have a fortune in bis possession. The securities held by Fowler banks amounting to about $50,000 are thought to be forgeries. The company seems to have been deliberately wrecked and indications are that the secretary, who had been given a free hand in the management of the company, had teen planning for several months to defraud the creditors of the concern. In addition to employing every means to secure money by patting the securities of the company up as collateral, Hirzel is said to have borrowed money from individuals on his personal note, and Mrs. Andrus, a widow living north of Fowler, is a victim to the snm of SI,BOO.
