Mrs. Lees of Timberland, Win., visited her sister, Mrs. Dr. Robinson last week. Miss Ethel Crabb went to Chenoa. 111., Friday for a two weeks’ visit with relatives. Mr and Mrs Chas. Weir left Friday for a short visit with friends at Judyville, Ind. Miss Odell returned Saturday fmin an extended visit with her sister at Green castle. * Elmer Holland who is attending school at Indianapolis visited bis parents over Sunday. Alice Walker returned to hei work-in Chicago after a few days visit with her parents here. Mrs. Geo. Commons and daughter Margurette spent Sunday with lMt. Cummins at Kankakee. Miss Delia Sharkey visited Rev. C. W. PnstiU’a and attended -llwcarnval at Fowler last week. - Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Lucas of Fowler visited her parents Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Brooks over Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Alberson and C. J. Ealy lelt Monday for their future home in Stuttgart, Arkansas. Blanch Whitehead went to Elwood Wednesday to visit her brother E. M. Whitehead and wife. Mrs. W. E. Peck and little daughter visited Mrs. John Allman and family at Logansport last week. Miss Maude Merritt visited her brother John Merritt and family at Rensselaer several days last week. Mrs. E. A. Bartoo and daughter Gertrude went to Wabasli Friday to visit her daughter Mrs. J. E. Freed James Clowery of Chicago came Friday to visit his daughter Mildred and other relatives for a few days. Mesdames Warner of Chicago and Roberts of Wabash visited their brother Wm. Kenyon and family a few days last week. Mrs. Stone and daughters Lizzie Stone.and Mrs. Otis Heath left -aturday for an extended visit with relatives at Marion. Mrs. Mary Clowery and mother Mrs. H ittie Scripture of Mattoon, Illinois came Saturday to visit relatives and friends here. Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson of Centerville, lowa, visited Mr. and Mrs. S. S. Galbreath from Tuesday till Thursday of last week. A. Milligan of Toledo came Tuesday of last week to visit wi.h his family 7 at the homQ of her parents, Mr. and Mrs S. G. Hand. Miss Chloe Dobbins went to Delphi Wednesday to visit relatives a few days and from there she will return to her home at Elwood. Mrs. Robert Parker and Fred Barger were called Friday to Huntington on account of a change for the worse in Mrs. John Burger. A. E. Kyle, Clarence Parks, A. V. Lock, J. A. Teeter, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dodge and Miss Stella Lock attended the Illinois State Fair at Springfield last week. >Mre. Payne and brother Emery Blake were called to Idavilhe Friday by a turn for the worse in their, brother Robert, who is suffering from cancer of the bowels with no hope of improvement. Jasper Guy moved last week to the property just vacated by Chas. Alberson, Chas. Elmore to his property vacated by Jasper Guy and Tom V allace to Wolcott where he is engaged in blacksmithing. Fresh fish Friday at T. W. Haus’ restaurant.
