Railroad Election in Carpenter.

Tuesday, Nov. 12th, has been set by the county commissioners as the day for Uarpenter tp. to vote on the 1 per cen t tax to subsidize the proposed Chicago and Lafayette electric railroad. Samuel Bowman was appointed election inspector for the east precinct Marion tp. recently voted a 1} per cent tax for the same purpose. On next Tuesday Oct 16th, The G. E. Murray Co. will have with them their special cloak representative showing an exceedingly strong and exclusive line of ladies, misses, and children's ooats, in that popular Palmer make.
