Lowell Souvenir: Rev. Drake, the new pastor, conducted the morning and evening services at the Methodist church Sunday, and made a very favorable impression on his hearers. He is a large man, with a strong personality and with that bro id experience that makes him at ease in the pulpit. He uses fine language, is fluent, graceful ind logical, and Willi end great strength to the church. His last charge was at Winamac, where his wife is at present. One of his first charges was at Bringhurst, Carroll county where he served three years. He was at Crown Point three years, Rensselaer three years and also filled the pulpit in Terre Haute. He is a wide-wake, persistent worker. Wm. Sheets and Mr. Drake are old acquaintances. The people of Lowell extend Mr. and Mrs. Drake a hearty welcome. He received a telephone message after arriving here to come home and to be given. &
