Merle Hayes is OH the sick list. Grant Davisson and wife were Rensselaer callers last Saturday. Minnie and Alvina Bitter spent Saturday with Frances Davisson. Mr. Bitter is hanling the school children to school, while they attend at Snowflake. Misses Selva dilmofe, Lilly HnHey and Dal Bopp called at Henry Hayes last Sunday. John Stewart and family called on Mrs. Henry Gowland and family of near Surrey, Sunday. Grant Davisson is having his bouse repainted. Mr. Heferline of Rensselaer is doing t)ie work. John Stewart and daughters, Mrs. Ritter and Mrs. Yeiter were > Rensselaer goers last Saturday. Charlie Shroyer and the Norman brothers are doing the foundation work at the Mt. Pleasant school house. Miss Rebecca Green and her aged father of Boone county visited old friends and neighbors in this vicinity last week. Mrs. Emma Schultz of Illinois, returned to her home last week, after a visit with her parents Mr, »Dd Mrs. Edward Bitter and fam*ily. John Stewart and daughters, Scott Greene and Rebecca Greene called on Everett Greene and wife of Tefft one day last week, Miss Greene and her father remained for a visit. The Mt. Pleasant school house has at last reached its destination bat has yet to be plastered, before school can be held. School is being held at the old Snowflake school house UDtil the Mt. Pleasant is made ready.
