Remonstrance in Walker Tp.

A blanket remonstrance being circulated by several good Citizens of Kniman and Walker tp. A majority is already signed but the petition will be circulated until the November session of the commis sioners court, when it will be filed. The license of William Ballinger, the present saloon keeper there, who has two indictments now pending against him in the Jasper circuit court, for alleged illegal sales, will expire in November. The temperance people in Kankakee tp., are also getting into motion and if successful there, Jasper county will be altogether dry as soon as the present saloon license at Dunnville and the Ballinger license expire.
