Carpenter and Gilboa to Vote on Railroad Aid.

President Infield has just returned from several days spent in Carpenter township aud Remington in thiscouuty, and Gilboa township, in Benton county, and reports that the petitions for elections to vote aid .‘or the interurban road are all ready signed up in both townships, and will be presented to the respective boards of county commissioners at their October term. He reports the sentiment very strong for the aid in both townships and thinks it will carry there by as favorable a vote as here. There are other townships in Benton which will be asked for aid later, but just now Mr. infield intends to devote his attention to work in Lake county, where aid is to be asked from several townships.
