To Be Named New York.

It is announced from Washington that the President and the Navy Department have reached a decision to name one of the two 20,000-ton battleships authorised by the last session of Congress the New York. The armored cruiser now bearing that name will be rechristened Saratoga to perpetuate the name in the navy of the historic old vessel with that title, which has been condemned and is about to be broken up. The other of the two giant battleships authorised has been named Delaware.
