Parr to Have Big Time.
Parr has decided to conduct a two days’ carnival and fair and have decided on Friday and riaturday, Sept. 27th and 28th for the days. The affair is in charge of Joe vonway, Sol Norman and Fred Stephenson, and a busy program is being prepared. The first day will be an Odd Fellows picnic and the second will be devoted to the award of prizes for agricultural products. Rev. Page, of Frankfort, will deliver an address the first day t> the Odd Fellows, and a lecturer from Chicago will talk to the farmers on. “Dairy Farming” on Saturday. A ball game and other athletic sports will be held each day. In addition to the prizes to be awarded by the committee for farm products, Judge Simon Parr Thompson will award special prizes for the best products raised by tenants of his farms. The complete program will be printed as soon as the committee has the arrangements made.
