Dead But Not Pushed Over.

Everybody has heard the expression that certain men were dead and all they needed was pushing over, but this piece from the Michigan City Dity Dispatch, is a new one on us applied to as a horse: An old gray horse belonging to a farmer near this place, is said to standing up in a field a iiw days ago. Observing that his faithful nag had not moved for an hour or more the farmer went to investigate. The horse was dead and bis head was down as though in the act of grazing. It is said the horse was stricken with heart failure and very old and stiff could not tall over after, death had ensued.
