Rensselaer Semi-Weekly Republican, Volume 40, Number 4, Rensselaer, Jasper County, 20 September 1907 — Tackles the School children Problem. [ARTICLE]
Tackles the School children Problem.
Postmaster Tull of Monon has grappled with the school children problem and has adopted a rule that mail will be delivered to only one child of a family. The swarm of school children who call three or four times a day for the same mail is one of the perplexities of a postmaster’s life, and such a rule as Postmaster Tall has adopted ought to be approved by patrons an J sustained by both parents and teachers.
